Tai chi classes start up in April

 Tai chi students:

It's starting to look (and sometimes feel) like spring out in the orchard ... time to start breaking out of my winter hibernation 😊

I anticipate starting up tai chi classes - outside, social distance, with facemasks - the first full week of April (April 5th).

I expect the class times to be Tuesday and Thursday mornings 11 am - 11:45 am (weather dependent), although that can (and probably will) be adjusted as we go.

Class will be simple - chi gung warm ups, running through the long form, and closing exercises.

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR APRIL CLASSES

Looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Remodel in progress

We have started on an ambitious project this winter while classes have been closed down - we are insulating the inside of the dojo!

Right now the mirrors and heaters are down and studs are ready to put up.  Not being skilled carpenter types, we are hiring out that part.

Once the studs are up we (and our intrepid crew - Caden and Conner) will be laying in the insulation (a blend of wool and hemp manufactured in Idaho) and putting up the new wall.

When it comes time for the finish work, especially around the windows and doors, we will be hiring that out also.

Our goal is to have the dojo ready to go May 1st, but keep checking in, and we will post updates as we go.
