Thursday February 9th Access Update
NOTE: we ARE having classes today
Travel advisory for N. Fir Street and parking lot:
N. Fir Street has standing water and scattered 2-3" of slush/ice at 7 am
Parking lot has standing water on top of packed ice, some deep ruts, and slushy spots in the middle.
If you do not have 4 wheel drive or the equivalent,
WE RECOMMEND PARKING IN THE STREET
and walking in. Please be careful walking in as the parking lot and especially the packed down walkway next to the dojo are VERY SLICK (think skating rink, and skating rink with standing water on the walkway next to the dojo).
If you are driving in to the parking lot, please note that the first entrance IS CLOSED OFF to cars, and only the second entrance by our mailbox is open for driving.

Wednesday Feb. 8th access update
N. Fir Street has been plowed/graded by the city and is safe to drive.
WE RECOMMEND PARKING IN THE STREET AND WALKING IN
Also, be careful walking in as the deep ruts are not easy to see under the new snow.
Our parking lot has frozen ruts and new snow on top of that - so if you aren't driving a 4 wheel drive truck or equivalent, the parking lot is NOT accessible.
If you are driving into the parking lot, use the 2nd entrance by the mailbox which is better maintained (the1st entrance is badly rutted).
